The course consists of 1-hour lectures followed by 1-hour interactive coding workshops conducted online via Zoom.
The course will be taught fully remotely through scheduled Zoom sessions.
The course runs for a duration of 8 weeks, with sessions held once per week.
June 14th - August 2nd, 2025
The course is taught by a current Harvard computer science graduate student who is an expert in AI and generative models.
The last day to apply for the summer course is May 23rd, 2025
We are seeking students who are enthusiastic about AI and eager to learn. While prior coding experience is not required, a basic understanding of programming concepts is always beneficial. Additionally, we value curiosity, dedication, and a willingness to engage with challenging material.
No, there is no fee to apply for the course. If accepted into the program, your student will choose their preferred course bundle and pay course tuition at that time.
If you are not accepted into the course, we encourage you to continue pursuing your interest in AI through other resources and opportunities. You are welcome to apply again in the future if you wish.
Participants will need a computer with internet access and the ability to run Zoom and coding software, which will be specified prior to the start of the course.
While there are optional exercises provided to reinforce learning, there are no formal assessments or grades associated with the course. The focus is on understanding and application rather than evaluation.
Currently, the course is designed specifically for high school students (and exceptionally advanced middle school students on a case-by-case basis). However, we may consider expanding to other age groups in the future.
